1. About NICJN
NICJN (Neurodivergence in the Criminal Justice Network) is a platform for sharing factual information to improve understanding and outcomes for neurodivergent people in the criminal justice system. The information is for general knowledge only and is not intended as professional or legal advice.

By using this website, you agree to:

Users may submit resources via the Share a Resource form for consideration in the public resource library. By submitting a resource, you agree to the following:

You confirm you are authorised to share the content and have the necessary rights or permissions;

You remain the owner of the submitted material but grant NICJN a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to publish and share it on this website;

You accept responsibility and liability for the content you upload, including its accuracy and lawfulness;

NICJN reserves the right to review, edit, or decline any submission at its discretion.

NICJN reviews submissions but does not guarantee their accuracy or completeness.
4. Membership and Data Collection
To become a member of NICJN and receive newsletters or updates, users must actively opt in by completing the sign-up form via the external link to the JISC Mailing List. The following information is collected:

To understand our audience;

To send occasional email updates and newsletters (only to those who opt in by joining as described above; or by directly contacting thomas8.smith@uwe.ac.uk or nicole.renehan@durham.ac.uk and requesting to join).
Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how your data is handled.
5. Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all content that is created by or licensed to NICJN (including the website layout, design elements, and original articles) is protected by intellectual property law.
You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute NICJN-owned content without written permission.
This clause does not apply to user-submitted resources, which remain the intellectual property of the original contributor (see Section 3)
